Aluminum Association Announces Speakers for Upcoming Meeting

The Aluminum Association will hold its 2009 Annual Meeting, "2010: Opportunities & Challenges," October 19-20, 2009, at the Hotel Palomar and Waterview Conference Center in Arlington, Va. This year's speakers include several industry experts: John Harris, co-founder and editor-in-chief of Politico, a newspaper and website covering national politics in the Washington, D.C area; Michael Petersen of Petersen Aluminum Corp.; and Jim Southwood, president of Price Risk Management for the CRU Group, who has worked in the aluminum industry for more than 40 years.

The annual meeting is open to association producer and supplier members, invited guests and members of the press. The two-day conference includes a board of directors meeting, standing committees meetings and division meetings. A special room rate of $229 single/double has been reserved but this will end on Thursday, September 17, 2009.
