All Weather Windows Names New President

Canada's All Weather Windows has announced that Richard Scott, vice president and general manager, will take over as president and chief operating officer. Gord Wiebe, who currently serves as chief executive officer (CEO) and president, is stepping down as president but will remain CEO.

Wiebe is moving away from day-to-day operations to spend more time focused on long-term growth opportunities for the company, and mentoring staff, according to a press release from the company. He has held the position of CEO and president since 1994. This year, Wiebe, a founding member of All Weather Windows, achieved a longtime dream of taking the company coast to coast with the opening of a branch in Halifax. The company now has 11 branches nationwide.

"Succession planning is a key component in the continued success of a company," he says. "I will continue to play an important role at an executive management level, and it is an honor for me to pass the mantle to Richard Scott. His outstanding organizational skills will be vital for our future growth."

Scott has spearheaded the company's lean initiative which has improved performance and customer satisfaction levels significantly, according to the company.

"This year marks our 30th anniversary and I feel privileged to lead such a great company into its fourth decade. Our goal will be to continue to provide exceptional value to our customers, our employees and our communities," says Scott.
