A.R.E. Webinar to Address CARB Compliance The first requirements of California Air Resources Board's Air Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products take effect Jan. 1, 2009. Store fixtures that contain particleboard, MDF, and hardwood plywood must comply with the new regulation if they're destined for use in California. To help fixture fabricators, distributors, and importers comply, the Association for Retail Environments in cooperation with the Composite Panel Association presents its first A.R.E. University webinar, CARB Compliance: Implications of the New California Formaldehyde Rule, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. EST. For information, visit retailenvironments.org/webinars.
