Contact Industries Wins Award from Marvin Windows and Doors

Contact Industries has announced that it was recently awarded the Gold Level Vendor Award by Marvin Windows and Doors for the third year in a row. This is also the third year that Contact has supplied door components to Marvin.

"Marvin values its vendor relationships and always encourages us to come forward with innovative and improved products and processes. With their careful attention to detail, focus on quality control, continuous improvement initiatives, and pride in their work, the employees at our Prineville, Ore., manufacturing facility deserve all the credit for earning this award yet again."

To determine if a vendor qualifies for Gold Level recognition, Marvin critiques the supplier in five areas: quality, delivery, technology opportunities, transaction accuracy and overall supplier performance. The evaluation is performed monthly and Gold Level status is awarded annually based on the cumulative score. Contact scored almost perfectly in all five areas in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
